Celebrating St Davids day and only 3 miles from my home i managed to capture this remarkable engine on full steam ahead going through Severn Tunnel Juction on 1st March 2007. The engine was on a run from Swansea to Paddington and i only caught this by chance as i had just bought a new lens for my Canon 300D and thought i would try a photo at my local railway station, when i arrived and saw about 100 people all there with cameras i knew something special was on it's way.
Yes, excellent. This is not an easy shot to compose, but you did a great job. I love the steam. Great job. Amanda

Thanks both for the wonderfull comments and i really appreciate what you have both said very much, i think this is my best capture so far, getting more excited by this hobby every week.
P.S. I have also entered the shot into 'Photo Of The Week', not expecting any result as i've only been snapping a short while and have much to learn.
