first newborn baby that i have shot, he is a family friends 10 day old son. I put the request in to take shots about 5 months ago so have been patiently waiting.... it was worth it, this is one of many... i love the fact that he is concentraing so hard at looking at his mother.

Very nicely done. I see the hand to be a tad soft focus though. But I have to say, this little one looks SOOO much like my daughter at this age. WOW, it is amazing how much. My daughter has blue eyes and was only 4.5 lbs at birth and this one looks awful small also. Wonderful captures. I am glad you were able to shoot the photos. they are so important to the family. Ask me ... my dad was the photographer when my daughter was this age and even after 19 yrs, I still go back and look at those photos.
thanks Cheriperry, i know what you mean, light in this room was not great..no room for tri pod and mum was stroking babe, hence just out of focus, bless her she wanted to keep him awake........i was more than happy with a content asleep babe... you live and learn i guess
