Waterboatmen swim underwater upsidedown. So looking down from above you see there undersides. I was laying on a bridge, hanging as close to the water as possible.

Ah that spoils it! Subtract at least 9 for not getting wet! But still a great image and not an easy subject to photo thru' the water. Viv PS Do they get their food from insects alighting on the water? Just a thought.
