Big Pyrenee's House

Big Pyrenee's House

The main feature of the Pyrenee's Houses may be their strength, they have to support a very difficult weather, at least in the past. The building materials are usually from the surrounding area and each valley had theirs.

In this case the roof is made of stones, very abundant in the area, in other valleys the slate for the roofs is more common.

I hope don't bore you with my stories. Wink

Nice, Ana. The building materials from my house came from the fields surrounding the house, too, but my house isn't as old as this one. Very interesting photo. -Brian

It's a beautiful photo of a beautiful building. The colors are so true to life and that blue blue sky is a plus. By the way, I love it when there is info under a photo. Well seen and well captured. Smile
