I was looking for a different take on a much photographed structure. Although I could 'see' the shot in my head, I waited a long time for the right subject to appear. This particular woman had a "throwback to the 1940's" look about her and I hoped she would give the image a sort of "French retro" look, in keeping with the bridge's lamps.
Taken in Nerac (ancient home of Henry IV of France) in the Lot-et-Garonne in southwest France
