"water under the bridge"

... what are they looking at? ... they were seemingly smitten by the boats passing through an extensive and historical water lock system at this juncture of a canal.

I wanted to have fun with you and say it was a spitting contest Smile!

A very elegant and interesting image; colours and sharpness are so pleasant. The white dress is a very nice detail. This image reminds me the movie 'Pleasantville'. A lot more could be said...

Could be any era, cant really tell from the clothing. Love the billowing white dress..Marilyn Monroe look to it. Good eye. Looks like good fun....Maggi

it is so interesting to explore everybody and suggest who he/she is! nobody is watching wrong direction, nobody is walking across the bridge - a phenomenon! great shot, Oly! what is that red spot in the left upper corner? --Vladimir

thank you for your thoughts... Valdimir, the red, is a stop light for pedestrians. It`s in the shape of a red hand (meaning wait to cross) Only suppose to cross when a little white figure is shown walking, but I sometimes cheat Wink and walk during the show of the hand if there is not much traffic Smile
How are these signs handled in your part of the world? I would be interested

Lovely shot Oly,just for a moment i thought they were all pushing something. Our lights are just boring and round, but they do bleep on crossings when the light is green for the blind.Oh and on a crossing the green light is a man walking.
