This was actually shot at night - pitch black. Shot from inside the house of a famous politician (municipally speaking) on Toronto Island. LONG exposure time. The house is called "Resting Vessle" and is a Frank Loyd Wright inspiration.
Some like the mother some like the daughter.Personally I do not see a reason for giving this a 2, thats just spiteful.Even if some do not like the subject matter its still a technically well executed photograph.

You were right in your assumption - I like this photo only because of the fact it was taken in total blackness. Look at the skyline and you can see the lights on in the windows (you wouldn't see that in a daytime shot), or the potlamps just outside the widow show a glow. I have a picture taken before just to show the difference (it's practically black). So like I said - I wasn't looking for anything artistic with this photo, I just thought it came off exceptionally with given the light (lack of) that I had to work with. How I picked up the shine off of the table I'll never know.
