So cute Viv... I too think it's some kind of finch, 'Kenp' is the bird man (feathered variety) around here Wink I'm sure he will know. Pin sharp girl! well done!!

Thank you every one for your nice comments. Not sure if it is a Greenfinch as it seemed much more tawny than our usual Geen finches (maybe this one has faded!) Viv

Cant see what it is from that angle ..but it's not a Greenfinch........great shot though Viv!,,,get one from the side the next time! shot!.............Ken.......

Many thanks Ken. Had been through my birdie books and tried my sister who twitches more than me but still could not get an answer. Has a finch like beak. I will probably not get another shot of this one for several years knowing my luck! Viv

I thought it was a female Greenfinch but the ones I've managed to capture have a little bit of yellow around the beak. Ken's the expert... Superb shot though.....
