Nice shot Ken....there are things you don't realise until you get in close....i remember an image of a Cinnabar moth catterpillar i put into a competition when i was in the local photogrphic society and the other members could not belive how hairy it was.
Thanks you lot!..lol...I'm really getting into these mini creatures!..lol.....not much wandering about either!,,,,just sit down and they pop up!..amazing what is crawling about in the undergrowth.........and amazing what some of them look like close up!....Thanks again............Ken

Thanks Dilwyn and Paul!....sorry the info didn't show up as I was using manual focus and an extension tube!...the lens is a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro,,amazing piece of kit,,and I was trying an old set of pentax extension tubes I found in my old gear. They seem to work quite well ,they shorten the focal distance by varying degree'sdepending on how many you use, means you can get that much closer..hope this helps, I'm still learning the trade so alot is trial and error,,more error than succsess.lol..........Ken

I don't like bugs (in the live at least) but this one is amazingly nice looking... nice work Ken"The poetry of photography will always be more important than the mechanics of the camera..." - J-H. Lartigue
Thanks for the info Ken. Your macro work is better than alot of stuff I've seen in books. Keep up the great work.
