I could not post the same image twice so I have removed the twig from another shot in the same sequence.
You can see the hooked beak a little better from this angle.
Viv- they are not popular during hatching season- I will let your imagination do the rest. john

You know, you could not have done a better job if you used a fake perch and put those lovely grasses there yourself. I really like the composition and the focus is as sharp as his little hook. Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!
