Yikes. I don't think this deserves a 4. I find it rather intriguing in black and white. I like the patterns and a good bit of it is sharp and crisp. It's the part that's not sharp that may be causing a problem. I'll give one point for originality, one for artistic vision and 6 for technical quality of the image.
