Weather for ducks?

Weather for ducks?

It has rained torrentially for 4 days. On Tuesday alone we got one month's rainfall. Lots of flooding and it is only 9 degrees today. So even the geese an ducks look thoroughly miserable!

Thanks Lee. I grabbed this in a quick leap out of the car - was not hanging around to compose shots. We had another 2 inches of rain today! These birds all looked very miserable and I suspect that lots of young birds may be lost in the wet and cold. Viv

I like the colors and you even captured the rain drops on the feathers. Nice job. Smile

Not sure that I agree with Lee in this instance Viv. Because the guy in front ALSO has eye contact with the lens, I think it adds to the shot. john

Thanks Jimmy. Yes the rain has been quite phenomenal - the only pictures I have are of the two local small rivers bursting their banks! It can only get better! Viv

I like the way you can see the water droplets on the duck's feathers, showing "water off a duck's back"!
