Don't give up. Grey and cold can photograph brilliantly. This is a study of a flower in black and white. Isn't the point of flowers that are bursting with colour? Have you ever seen a black and white cookery book? Yuk!

Thank you Mal and John. Yes, flowers are bursting with so much colour we sometimes miss the texture in the petals so I see nothing wrong in experimenting. But each to their own - "one man's ..." or something like that. Viv
