I've been grounded for the weekend due to the threat of more floods in Sheffield, so thought it about time I sorted out my holiday photo's from the Spring Bank. This is the view from just below the Great Western hotel in Newquay.
Beautifully lit! (The sun catching the cliffs makes me yearn for sun!) Hope that the flood threat is no more than that and the levels keep going down. Viv

I hope so too Viv, we've been cut off from several surrounding areas since last Monday Thankfully the flooding hasn't caused too many problems for me as I live at the top of a very steep hill, but for those who live in and near to the flooding it has been devastating. Hopefully the rainfall won't add to the misery many people are already suffering. Thank you for your concerns.

I like the touch of green here and there.......the way the cliffs are trying to hold on to the suns last light and the clouds saying hello to the night on the right. The kind of place you can think without all the noise from your thoughts. Beautiful! Maggi
