Paul. thanks for your comments and votes.. I use a canon 30D with a variety of lenses. That one was taken on a Canon L series 400mm f5.6 lens at 1/200th, F11 photographing prop planes and helicopters is a tricky business as you have to slow the shutter speed down to avoid freezing the props. even more so on helicopters. Slow shutters speeds, big lenses and fast moving objects dont go together very well..

Beautiful shot! It has a somewhat soft feel to it, which is unusual for shooting a metal airplane, but it sure works here! This is really terrific. Nice job. And what were you riding/flying in?
