I took this hand held using the Sigma 105 macro lens, I was lucky it cam out so clear as the wind kept blowing when I was trying to take it:)

excellent. great shot Deavilin. you really know your stuff on the macro dont you. do you use lighting with these photos as well or is it natural light? Im guessing a macro flash unit but not that experienced in it. Would love to play more with it though in the future i find it fascinating.

Thanks for all your comments, Matt the poppy was taken in natural light, for the daisy I used a macro flash:)

Nikon D200 + Nikon 80-400 VR + Nikon 50mm 1.8 + Nikon 85mm 1.8 + Sigma 10-20 + Sigma 18-200 + Sigma 105 macro + manual bellows and an SB800 Nikon flash all well used as I can't put them down

Wind and macro just dont mix do they!....I think it's the cramped positions you have to get into! though it's a stunning shot Charlotte,well worth a 10....or even more!.....................Ken
