Ahhhh Viv,Why do you make me wanna cry on a Friday for? So sweet. She looks to have been beautiful. Mine are gone but I have great memories of them. Nice that you have something concrete to remember them by.My husband has an old afghan(blanket) his mother made. I have washed it numerous times but he swears he can sometimes smell her.......Maggi
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Fond memories are true gifts to cherish...
I met 1 set of grandparents when I was all but 4 and my Dad's side I never had the chance too... His Dad died in Russia while saving countless Jews in the under-ground movement.
My heart/spirit spins with Joy when-ever I hear or see someone ele's gifts.

Thank you all very much. Both my grand parents died when I was very young so I don't remember them well. The photo of them on the bench was taken by my father who has been dead quite a long time as well. It is nice to know when I sit on the bench that I am sitting where the earlier generations sat. Viv
