Oly....I'm going to ask for permission to shoot this place after hours. There is some magnificent architecture here which could be exploited from viewpoints usually closed to the public. I'll offer a nice donation and see what happens. I really need to use the tripod. That's not really ideal when there are loads of people milling around.
You are right about the power. The stone soaks it up like a sponge and throws it back out at ya.
