There are no photoshop tricks in this image. The roots are really coming out of the glass. I drilled several small holes so that the roots would protrude from the glass. Any kind of feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Chappo1 I took your advice and moved it to POTW. John, at first I thought it was more difficult to drill holes in glass but it wasn't and I used a very cheap driller.
All of the above. The texture of red under the tree is appears thick as in blood.as if dripping its life from the roots. Nicely done. Maggi
