I like this kind of product photography, though I understand you might be going for the macro subject. Here's where using products gets sticky over here in the states. I couldn't win a contest using such a shot because the law protects the product from photographers making money on the product unless authorized by the company. And since the contest awards something which could be construed as monetary gain, something like this wouldn't work for me.
But those are my problems. I actually have no problems with this photo. It's got pleasing shapes and colors, and I think it's very well done.
Nice work Oly .... you can photograph almost anything and turn it into a masterpiece lovely lighting on this too .... JulieTwelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop.
