Today's "Masjid-e-Nabvi"[Mosque of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)] is the model of unique construction. Big beautiful halls, modernly constructed domes, high minarets, sliding dome roofs, big umbrellas and beautifully designed pillars and artistic ceilings are really incredible. Lighting system is so impressive that no one feels when the sun sets and artificial lights replace it. Six big automatic umbrellas have been fixed in the court yard of masjid-e-Nabvi which have been opened in sun and rain. Its' air-conditioning system is most modern. The whole city of old Madina has now come in the covered area of Masjid-e-Nabvi. Graveyard "Jannat-ul-Baqqi"which was thought out side the city, now looks just out side mosque .This vast extension provides thousands of faithful to offer prayer in one time. "Masjid-e-Nabvi" also has an upper level and a roof which have doubled its capacity.
