For me these kinds of shots always work better in b and w with decent lighting, and good contrast. There are too many colours, and there's no focal point - my eyes are darting everywhere (thinking that left lens needs a jolly good clean, and if they're your glasses, your eyesight's almost as bad as mine!!), trying to find something to rest on.
