Beautiful shot! Were they on the fruit?or did you put them there?Maybe from a butterfly farm since they are different types?Never mind a fantastic shot.Where on earth in NY do you find such things?

Wait! I know! See, he went to the butterfly farm and he had taken his lunch, and cut this orange, and turned around for a couple of cold ones, and when he looked back, this is what he saw! Come on, fd, what's the story? Beautiful colors. Very imaginative setup, however you did it. I can see the toes on the butterfly.

Luscious! My fruit bowl is never that attractive. Is it done with superglue and tiny pins?

You just don't get colors and situations like this in your back yard Smile The fruit works well with the colors of the whole thing and makes it not just another butterfly-on-a-flower shot. Looks like you added some blur in, which is a bit much for me but hey, thats just me.

Butterflies are naturally attracted to citrus fruit and their flowers also.Thats why I thought it must be a butterfly farm. You should spend more time there Fdinaro. These are great shots of yours, love them.

It work. Very artistic.
Don't know if a greater DOF would improve the final result.
