Thanks John. Going well and I do miss my film but not the wait and the money involved. I really do not have any complaints with the a100, it meters well, focuses quickly and accurately and is very welcoming to a new digital user. I should of course read the instruction manual but I've been busy and too eager to spend my free time opening and closing the shutter. If I had one complaint it would be the 18-70mm kits lens, as thi is currently my only "digital" lens I was hoping for more but I probably should expect much from a $100 kit lens. Anyway I'm off to work and hoepfully some photographs this evening. Cheers!
It is most likely the same 18-70 that came with my 5D. After much research, I have ordered the Sigma 17-70DC macro and am waiting for it to come in. I have been very happy with the big 50-500mm Sigma.... Best thing about digital is the bracketed exposure.
