Love the colours in the water.....the bird is a little soft, possibly due to the slow shutter speed

Cheers John, yep...not brilliant, the light was very limiting and with a fixed 300mm you don't have many choices. Harvey may well have a better version of this bird taken with his 400mm with image stabiliser.

Cheers Ken, you don't need to catch up, the photos you produce now with the kit you have would be hard pressed to be improved upon no matter what lens you had!
