Cheers John, yep...not brilliant, the light was very limiting and with a fixed 300mm you don't have many choices. Harvey may well have a better version of this bird taken with his 400mm with image stabiliser.

Super shot Steve...we have hoary headed and Australasian grebes in this part of the world but not these guys....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
