There are three black specs on the photo that I can't tell what they are. I'd clone them out, and maybe crop out some of the water.

Those are birds. They're clearly visible on the high-res version.

Wow. Foreground and background blend almost seamlessly into each other, and colors are gorgeous in both. Patterns are wonderful, stacatto of sails wonderful. I'm curious about the time of day AND the light source? Assume it was behind you? Did you mute the colors?

It was early evening and yes, you're right, the light source was behind me.
I didn't fix the colors or something else in Photoshop, if I understand your question correctly.
