Yes, I shall have to get rid of this bright red jumper and get a longer lens..lol..but yeh, your right Kelly, it would have been good to get closer, unfortuantly i was on a boat with 50 other people sailing down the river Dart. Smile

Sounds like you had a problem (with my comment)... I took your reply as a snide remark... I was going to send this private but you left no profile to do so.
Sorry if my rating offended you, wasn't intended I was just being open & honest in my judgement on the image itself... Sometimes our expectations in an image is not how others veiw them.

Thought the smliley face and the 'lol' might have indicated the comment was in jest. Its ok, you did not offend me in any way.my apologies for my warped sense of humour. Incidentally. checked my profile (looking good) hmm. the option is there as far as i can see to send a personnel message.

Looks like the fleet is in. Nice shot, I agree it makes a good black and white. Well done. Smile

Normally I think black and white does not work for birds but with this lot it is perfect when they are "en masse". I would not have thought of doing it or seen the overall pattern but you have a good eye for picking out the whole effect. Viv
