I am trying to take a leaf out of Oly's book. Get it? (Ouch!) seriously I got a quieter day but could not find a backdrop of golden light. Ah well - can try again another day! My hat is off to you Oly, your effects are hard to produce. In fact your images are the "gold" among the geen.

Thank you very much Stu, Paul, alan and Oly. Oly I used to do water colours but I have the same problem with photography as that - I wanted to put in too much detail. I am trying to work out how to use DOF to my advantage, you do it so well. Viv
Viv, I have dabbled in watercolor too! it's very hard! amazing what we can find in common through photography.. I find that very neat... p.s. you are way too kind to me.. I don't think I'm necessarily good with DOF as I think it's more that I just love my 100mm lens. Very restrictive and yet very creative all in one.
