Hi all sorry not been very active lately. Im reposting this with an update that i thought some of you might be interested in.
Since POTW in here This photo is now appearing in two national photo magazines. both out this month. One is Digital Photographer where it won a picture of the week on its website and the other in Digital Photo.
I heard from the Editor of Digital Photo today who has had an equiry to purchase this photo for his neighbour who happens to be the original world war 2 pilot of this very aircraft. The magazine is also hoping to do a follow up story on this as they feel it is such a nice story.
Just thought id share some good news that i am really delighted about.
Congrats, was a great shot. Good Luck!!! Maggi
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Thanks Viv and Maggi.. I have just heard from the reader of the magazine who is organising this.. Apparantly the pilot is a polish gentleman that flew with the RAF in the battle of britain. The oringial aircraft was shot down over the channel. im not sure if he was the pilot or not at the time but waiting to find that out. The squadron markings and ID of the aircraft have been repainted for the RAF BBMF. The pilot apparantly broke down in tears upon seeing the picture and a picture of him and the photograph is going to appear in the magazine. Personally i cannot think of a nicer place for the photograph to end up. and hope to hear more of this gentlemans story
