Red-Tailed Hawk

In March 2006 a mating pair of Red-Tailed Hawks set up residence on a window ledge two floors above my office window in Cambridge, MA. Two babies hatched around Easter and they took flight in early June. This is a two frame Photoshop combination of one of the parent hawks taking flight and bringing a twig back to build the nest. I shot it with continuous frames and used Photoshop CS3's Auto-Align and Auto-Blend to smooth the frames into a multiple exposure looking scene. Canon EOS-1DS, 1/250 @ f/5.6, ISO 200, Exposure Comp +0.67, 400mm

Nicely done. Great captures. Not sure I like them combined but it is done very well. That musthave diverted everyone from their work! Viv

Thanks for all your feedback!!! I have a version with a third frame (in between these two), but that was way too busy.
