Shot at midnight in the Lausanne railway station with an M6 Leica and the 50mm f1.0 Noctilux lens, using a Tmax400 film. Negative scanned with a Nikon 8000 SuperCool Scan. Postprocessing (PS) limited to contrast and brightness.
I decided to take this photograph when I realized that, although the next train would not be coming before fifthy minutes, she preferred to wait outside with a biting cold rather then in the comfortable waiting hall.
Tophee: No, I didn't. The vignetting is inevitable when you open the Noctilux at f1.0, which I had to because the light was almost nihil. Thanks for the appreciation.
This is what black and white is all about to me. Lovely rich tones and a story to tell. If I were judging the competition, you'd be the winner. I just love it. Janhttp://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/
