An old clinker built rowing boat laid well above the high water mark!........these old vessels were built up and down the Northumberland coast,,,used mainly by Crab and lobster fishermen under oars!.....................a hard breed of man!
Nice one Ken there are many of these old boats dotted around the place neglected and unwanted everybody wants fibreglass 4 low maintenance (Y)

When I was but a nipper...many a long year ago...we used to have a 12 foot clinker...it was a lot of work to maintain it so that the water stayed on the outside...
Are you still at ISO 800 Ken? I notice that you were still there on the mudflat shot.
Have you done any comparison shots?
I decided some time ago that I would leave mine on ISO800. For the majority of my shots that very slight deterioration is un-noticeable....
Did I say nice shot... no I didn't so Nice shot and still a 9 'cos I cannot purv on the exif data.....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Sorry John........I keep forgetting!........it doesn't come up when I shoot in manual!..................iso800.......F13.........1/25th at16mm.........they do need a tremendous amount of corking and painting!.............................and thanks for the 9!.................LOL.................kEN
