sorry i cant remember what this bird is called! taken in the zoo. the background cage and things were very distracting so i gaussion blurred the whole background....... have a nice day ;o)
Great work Rachel...when I try and blur around sculptured surfaces it is very obvious but I cannot detect a false stoke....If you were closer I would be around for lessons....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Thanks everyone!
took me ages to learn how to blur around things.... but its not too difficult if you have patience! i aways use the polygonal lasso tool then blow up the picture really big and go round the object (bird in this case) carefully. then all you have to do is go to selection - inverse - then click on filters - blur - gaussion blur then move the slider depending on how blurred you want it. if there are any edges that dont look right - just blur them with the normal blur tool or clone them out after..... go on give it a try!
Missed this one Rachel!..............what a beautiful Nird!.................what a funny name for a feathered friend!....lol........How are you haven't seen you about for a while.........well I hope!..........................Ken
If I see something I "SHOOT!"
