Great subject, but there's something odd about it. It looks over-sharpened somehow and for any portrait, the eyes should always be a feature. Here, they're secondary to the parts of the beard that are in focus. For me, everything about him should be in focus. Would love to see more of such an interesting character. Chears for the comments guys. I think you´re right desertpea - once I start sharpening I just can´t stop. I´d love to take more of this chap but I accosted him in the middle of town and so that´s that chance gone.
