I was curious Viv as in parts of Australia and new Zealand it is not permitted to remove rocks from the beach or rivers...john

Lovely shot viv. great colour in the sky. I was wondering where this was. Is that the big rock near the road which says 'jesus is the rock of our salvation' - or something of that nature - on it?

Thanks Nigel and Richard. There are a couple of huge erratics down the Ards shore. This is the one between Kircubbin and Greyabbey. I think it is the other near where I lived outside Newtownards that has the painting on it. But when you have seen something so much it is hard to remember which one has it! John you cannot take stones from many of the beaches in the south of England - they are beautifully rounded glacial pebbles but these are not so desirable so there is no problem. Viv
