Thanks Nigel and Alistair. I have had so little chance to play with the 40D (this is the first sunny day I have been able to get out since I got it) but I can already see there is less noise and I love the faster frame speed. This was done at ISO 640, and I am well pleased. The camera is heaps better than me! Viv

Thanks Richard. It is between Donaghadee and Millisle - that is a standing stone or a monument. All I can remember is being dragged there (a long time ago) by my sister (Hi Fi!) to hunt for graptolites! Viv
Its a beauty of a shot Viv,love the sand and stones the way the light just kisses them golden then moves on. The clouds and light far right are beautiful too.
