Beautiful position that you have caught him in. Try putting up the ISO a little further in these bird shots which will enable you to use a shorter shutter speed. Viv
Viv has just took the words out of my mouth so as to speak, I would put the ISO
up to 400 and why not use aperture Priorty, it works for me Iv'e also got a D70,

Looking at your other shots, I am guessing that you just grabbed the camera and that was the setting but it is a little soft. I echo Viv and Jimmy- I shoot permanently at ISO800. Only time I get really undone with this is in deep shadow where the noise is noticeable..john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
