You did'nt need to announce it when you have old beedy eyes reading the mag.I was sat in bed and said to H do you think that is the Stewart we know,and then i thought,there is only one Stewart Bywater lol.How did you manage to get a job doing that and i want one just like it lol,my claim to fame is a photo in the daily Telegraph and Daily express but it was only a shot of a daffodil flowering in the wrong season.But you have done very well i am really pleased for you.And in answer to your question we are both very well.I have been busy doing portraits for clients and they all wanted them for xmas so have not had much time on here either.Take care ,Bridget
Haha. Thank you all very much for your lovely comments! I was really lucky to get the chance... I met the editor in a pub and gave him my website address so he could have a look at my photos. I thought that he'd probably just forget or not bother to look, but he ended up offering me work experience. I spent all my holiday time and one of my days off every week working there, and when a job did come up, they offered it to me! I am chuffed to bits, and I can't thank you lot enough for your support and feedback, and for teaching me so much in such a short time! Oh yeah.. the other thing is.. I have been eating, sleeping and dreaming photography since I got into it. I have had to learn an awful lot very quickly, and it's not always been that easy. I never thought that I'd get to turn my hobby into my job though, and it certainly beats working in the tea room! Thanks again to you all, and a very Happy New Year!
