This is my new beginning because I think that FINALLY I might be getting a handle on this new camera. After all my moaning and groaning I actually think this may be a decent shot and I feel good about it.
Well, ok, I realize the beak is not as sharp as the eye, but that's probably a couple of f/stops or something. Besides, there's some serious Bokeh going on here so I'm really thrilled now.
Great definition in the feathers and a terrific shot Amanda...being super critical, I would be inclined to clone in another cm in front of the beak to give him space to look into...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
