Another picture from our February storm on the shore of Finnish Gulf. The first idea was to give "Armagedon" title to this picture, but I decided that it would be too pathetic.
But it is end of the world looking. I love the stripes of ice layers in that up ended ice flow. An amazing scene. Well caught. What was teh temperature and wind chill? viv
Viv, the temperature was not too low, about -3 in Celsius. But the wind was very strong, up to 15 m/sec or about 50 km/hour. It was difficult to stand and not possible to go against the wind.

All the above...great shot!
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
This is a great shot. It looks cold, just as cold as here in Minnesota.
No wonder so many Finns, Norwegian and Swedes settled in this corner of the USA, since it is just as cold and windy as in Scandinavia.
Stay warm.
