I have informed you about the Water Tower in my other photo so about the Conference Centre:
The Conference Centre makes up the Western sector of the Expo 2008 Plaza. Its attractive shape is defined by an interlinking series of large skylights. The result is a functional area supported by a modular oblong above a simple, elementary construction system that permits a wide variety of spatial applications.
The modular rooms and multiple meeting rooms complement the main auditorium, with a capacity for 1,500 seats. The corridors and the interior halls run along the length of the building and expand the space of the Expo 2008 site towards the hotel area and Water Park.
The building, of approximately 9,000 m2 in size, rests on prefabricated pillars, like most of the pavilions at the Expo 2008 site, and occupies nine floors.
