Ha! ..thanks for your concern Viv certainly a theme blowing in the wind at the moment...this gorup of shots were taken on one day on the island of Burano one of Venice's off islands , It could be that it just happened to be the day everybody does laundary or it was too good a day to miss in relation to weather which happily was gorgeous. I wa sjust impressed that as with most things the Italians seem to have style with almost everything they do , even the washing seemed to be hung out with artistic flair.'There is no point pressing the shutter unless you are making some caustic comment on the incongruities of life.
