Beautiful!!! Love all the coppery tones, and the light, and the silhouette, and the sky, and...... just love it. Perfect! (What colour is the beach shingle - it looks two tone?) Viv

Maggi following on from our discussion about noise - how do you kill any noise in your hdr shots - the filters I use do not do that very well. Viv

This is potw material. I love it. Would make a great wall hanging just about anywhere but especially in a gallery. Thumbs Up!

This actually is my beach, came with the property 25 years ago. The shingle? is actually pulverized shells that have washed up from the waves. Some are very fine and some are larger. There is some regular sand, brown, but not a lot. Mostly shells. As for noise, I use photos from raw with different exposures, it seems to eliminate a lot of it. I also use a noise reduction filter after. Trust me, a lot goes right into delete!!!!!

Thanks Maggi. I do the same hdr from raw and find that the noise reduction filters do not work that well if there is noise on those images. Viv

What a stunningly glorious shot! Can't imagine anything much better than this. I do feel sorry for you, though, having to put up with living there ... do you do B and B? Jan

Very nice Maggi... however I do see/think the noise is abit of a distraction.
However it is a very scerene image and the colors are wonderful. Smile
