I have absolutely no belief in religious matters, yet this image still offers me a warm feeling. I think it's got a great title, because that's exactly what is given to the viewer, a sense that the little girl can sleep soundly without a care in the world. Possibilities for other models on the bench come to mind, from other children to grumpy old men. What emotional message would be received if there was a police officer and a haldcuffed felon sitting there?
