It conveys the essence of your type of landscape and country very well and sometimes that is as important. Love the openess of it all and the hills are beautiful. What is the stone/tower on the hill? Viv

I know it will destroy the sense of distance but try cropping it to panorama Ken to focus the eye on the hills and that "sticky up thingy". I held a piece of board in front of the screen and it looked good to me....john

I like the soothing natural colour and that great spring sky...the panoramic crop works well........doesn't look like there's much work for you around there though

I like it better as well!....I keep forgetting I have 14.6million pixels!....if I'd cropped like that with the trusty old istds ,it would have been just a blur!......thanks again folk............Ken

Ps I was planting trees just down the road!....something for me to fell in years to come!

I believe you have mastered your photographic tool of choice; even just look at those clouds and how so perfectly/beautifully clear everything is... the mountain detail too. Great suggestion too by John, and although I didn't see the first version, this is really super Ken. Good on you
p.s. Now if you could teach me to do the K20 justice I'd be sooo happy

Thank you girls you are way to kind!........I had to take it in the day after I got it! had a focussing problem!....back focussing they call it,all my shots were blurred,I was devastated after paying £700!........I took it into the local camera shop to a friend of mine and he adjusted it for me!....So I'm back to learning the new you certainly dont need any lessons Oly,not from me anyway! agin my friends........Ken
