Lucky shot really. I had the 500mm on and was trying to get the Blue Tits feeding their young but one of my cats was running around my garden like a loony. I took this shot then ran indoors for the macro lens but when I came back I tripped over the silly cat and the butterfly flew away.

I think you might be right. I was not sure when I saw this earlier but I think it is. I also think particular butterflies vary slightly around the UK. Viv
