Tree Sprite

Tree Sprite

My imagination goes X-Files with this one. I thought it looked like George Washington. The tree is tall but dead; it had similar burls alternating all the way up the trunk, and I think it was branchless. The human features are only presentable on this one side as viewed walking into the woods from the trail...( I don't walk on wildflowers). Walking back along the trail the effigy is barely remarkable. I suppose someone can identify the species of tree by the bark, I can't.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
