She nests in the same place every year, about two clicks from my house, she brought off 5 young last year and she is on 4 eggs this year.
This photograph was taken about 150 meters away from the other side.
Can't wait for the chicks to hatch.
Thanks Viv, I am too far away to bother her and it is great to be able to keep watch on her progress. I have never photographed them before, always just watched, but will bring you updates as they happen.

Lucky you!... to be able to watch the whole process, without impacting on them at all......it is so hard to get shots of raptors, and they are nearly always from a fair distance....well done, and I look forward to more....Alan
Great shot...I hope you can get them fledging...they are too damn quick once they learn to fly!!...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
They have nested here for the last five years that I know of. They are about two thirds up a cliff face and I am perched on the other side right on the top so I get a perfect view right into the nest site.
I know how detrimental it is not to disturb a nesting bird and can assure you that she or the male have never took a disliking to my presence.
Bill Oddie filmed these birds for his programme Bill Oddie goes wild, nice chap, but a bit quiet. Not like on TV.
