Nice title. I just found out that bees had tongues the other day when I took a close up. I definitely need a macro lens. Love the detail.

Thanks Kelly and Rob. It is a Hover fly....Rhingia Campestris. The larvae are found mainly in cow dung - I am surrounded by fields.. and!! Viv

Thank you very much Carmen, Julie and Amanda. Amanda this is the cheapie kit 18-55mms Canon kit lens plus one Canon 25 mm extension tube and a close up filter - the cheap way of doing things. Viv
