It amazes me how snakes can slither around on stuff with ease, which would cut us to shreds.
He was not camera shy and was in very good condition for this time of year. Just out of hibernation.

Terrific capture....if this guy was unconfined it is a one in a million shot....they are hard to come upon in the wild and even harder to get a decent shot....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
John, it is a wild snake, but you gotta know how to deal with them. I learned a lot through my dad, he taught me to respect all wildlife and of cource the late great Steve Irwin.
